Your EEO PolicyAs a Government Contractor, you must offer Equal Employment Opportunities. This requires that you develop and implement an Equal Employment Opportunity Policy stating your commitment to Equal Employment Opportunity and that no employee or applicant for employment will be discriminated against because of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, otherwise qualified disabled or veteran status. This policy should be posted in conspicuous places throughout your facility for applicants, employees, vendors and others to see and will include information on your how you recruit, hire, train and promote employees, how employment and promotion decisions are made, and how personnel actions are administered. This policy will also specify who has been designated as your EEO Coordinator and that he or she is responsible for compliance with State and Federal EEO laws, implementing the Affirmative Action Program, and that he or she should be contacted if employees believe they have not been treated in accordance with this policy. In the EEO Policy, employees will also be told that yours is an Equal Employment Opportunity company and that the success of the Affirmative Action Program requires maximum cooperation from every employee. This policy should be issued by the President or highest ranking official in the company.
